Korea OTIC consists of 6 members. TTA is main host. ETRI, Korea Telecom, LG Uplus Corp. and SK Telecom participate as co-hosts. Additionally, NIA joins as a partner. Korea OTIC plans to build O-RAN testbeds.
Korea OTIC has 2 testing labs located in Seongnam (TTA) and Daejeon (ETRI). The labs focus on testing and certifying ICT products and services in accordance with the domestic and international standards, as well as developing testing standards. They will support subsystem, interoperability, and E2E testing according to O-RAN alliance standards.
Korea OTIC is open to cooperating with other OTICs around the world, and we are delighted to contribute to the development of the Open RAN industry.

Supported work and scope of services:
Korea OTIC's plan to offer extensive and comprehensive O-RU/DU/CU testing services in a laboratory environment will undoubtedly benefit their clients. By providing subsystem, interoperability and system testing in the laboratory along with O-RAN compliance certification, interoperability and E2E badging testing based on O-RAN specifications, it positions itself as a reliable and competent partner for clients in the field of Open Radio Access Network testing.
In addition, hosting the O-RAN PlugFest further demonstrates Korea OTIC's commitment to foster collaboration and innovation within the O-RAN community.
Overall, this initiative is expected to make a significant contribution to the development and advancement of 5G technology in Korea and beyond.
