The Asia&Pacific OTIC in PRC is a part of the Integration Lab hosted by ZhongGuanCun (ZGC) Academy of Mobile Communication Innovation (ZAMI), a construction of China's national science and technology innovation center in Beijing, where O-RAN ALLIANCE's founding member China Mobile is one of the founders providing support and guidance to ZAMI.
Following the vision of ZAMI, Asia&Pacific OTIC in PRC will focus on cutting-edge technology research in the field of information and communication and actively promote the R&D and industrialization of 5G Open RAN. Meanwhile, A&P OTIC in PRC will be a vendor independent, open and qualified physical facility providing a collaborative, open and impartial working environment.
In the initial phase, A&P OTIC in PRC will setup two laboratories in ZAMI Beijing and Nanjing Research Institute. Interfacing, management and orchestration of the two laboratories will be owned by the laboratory in Beijing while two laboratories will share resources, information and experiences while both responsible to related OTIC tasks includes providing test & verification services, feedback, developing technical capabilities to O-RAN communication and help for demonstration via PlugFest and proofs of concept (PoC).

Supportedwork and scope of services:
A&POTIC will be able to support Conformance Test, Interoperability Test, End toEnd Test for Open RAN systems and sub-systems from O-RU, O-DU/O-CU, gNB, andmore. Meanwhile, A&P OTIC will provide professional services not just intesting but also in troubleshooting, data analytics, consulting. We will alsocover various technologies from 4G to 5G, architectures from NSA to SA forfrequency range 1, user scenarios from indoor to outdoor, form factors fromsmall cell to macro cell.
